DIGITAL SCAVENGER HUNT
This digital scavenger hunt is an awesome assignment to use with your upper elementary school students. Give your students a list of descriptive words and have them take pictures of things they may find in their surroundings that represent these words. The following pictures are examples of the words electric, water, upside down, empty, button, broken, overlap, stripes, spots, curly, delicious, square, sound, underneath, and red. This assignment may be more time consuming, but can be assigned as an out-of-the-classroom project and students should enjoy this more than a take home written assignment. Assessment of this assignment is also fairly simple for a teacher, as the picture will either represent the word, or it will not.
